Starlette P.
Starlette is a master’s student at Boston University studying Biology. Starlette completed her undergraduate degree in Biology and Biochemistry obtaining honors. During her undergraduate years, she researched at the Forsyth Institute under Dr. Van Dyke’s Lab and was a member of the BU Dental Club and was a private tutor at Brimmer & May School in Brookline.
Starlette has teaching experience in teaching college level STEM courses for pre-dental and pre-medical students. She has also taught classes preparing for the SSAT and ISEE for prep school entrance and has experience in college applications. Past students have gotten into University of Virginia, Duke, Boston University, Cornell, and Wake Forest. In her free time, she also acts as a volunteer tutor and career coach for Allies for Immigrants, helping first generation immigrants obtain better opportunities. She believes that economic barriers should not hold any potential learner back.
Starlette believes that a love for learning and internal desire for success is the key to a successful student. Starlette’s main goal for her students is for them to be independent learners and use their education as tools for whatever they may want to achieve in life.
