Varshini O.


Varshini Odayar is a graduate from Harvard College where she earned an A.B. in Neuroscience and Social Anthropology, with a secondary in global health and health policy. She is currently pursuing an MS in Media, Medicine, and Health at Harvard Medical School. She has tutored reading and math for students aged 4-18 at Kumon and served as a Teaching Fellow for multivariable calculus, chemistry, and physics courses at Harvard.

Varshini values collaborative learning and the growth mindset. As an incoming medical student, Varshini has been resilient in her learning by exercising a growth mindset herself. Recognizing that students have different starting points and unique goals, Varshini helps her students develop skills and strategies to meet the next milestone in their learning. She hopes to help students turn their weaknesses into strengths and is eager to help each student achieve their academic goals.

In her free time, Varshini loves biking, trying new restaurants in the Cambridge-Boston area, and spending time with friends.
