Eva S.
Eva Seligman is an ADHD and Executive Functioning certified coach with over 15 years of experience teaching, tutoring, and coaching. She earned her BA from Oberlin College, with a double major in Religion and Gender Studies; a Master of Arts in Teaching from Bard College, with a Certification in Secondary History Education; and a Master of Divinity from Harvard Divinity School (HDS) with a focus on Buddhism. Eva taught middle and high school for eleven years in both Romania (where she served as a Peace Corps volunteer) and in the greater New York City area.
Eva has a particular passion for supporting teenagers and emerging adults in developing stronger executive function skills and helping young people find their voices as writers. Eva loves to collaborate with clients to help them set their own goals and experiment with different strategies to accomplish them. She sees the process of teaching and learning as a holistic endeavor that is as much about confidence and personal connection as it is about skill building or content mastery. Her clients describe her as warm, thoughtful, and enthusiastic. When she’s not tutoring or coaching, she loves seeing live music and getting lost in art museums.
